Video Card No Longer Supported?

I have Mac with a AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB. I think the machine is pretty quick with 32GB of RAM. Well it won't do plumes anymore. Says my video card does support it. Well it used to up until the point that we got engine plumes. Any ideas?

Can you check your settings and see if the frame buffer is enabled? Framebuffer is required for thruster plumes.

I know there were some platform bugs for osx +opengl. OSX doesn't always report the correct opengl version.

If I try to enable frame buffer I get the same error and game shuts down.
