Oh god, what have I gotten myself into. This is going to be horrible.

I've started working on a 1:1 scale Venator class Star Destroyer from the Star Wars franchise.
For those of you who don't know, it's this monstrosity.

Yes, that's 1137 meters of length, 548 meters of width, and 268 meters of height.
Yes, I'm making the entire thing.
Yes, I'm bringing it down to individual tiny depressing details.
No, I'm not going to enjoy the vast majority of this build, just because of the repetition of it :P
    Yes, it'll be worth it.

I've already constructed the turrets for it.
The DBY-827 Heavy Turbolaser Turrets are 70x26x70 and output roughly 40k DPS each. There are eight of them mounted alongside the bridge.

The Medium Turbolaser turrets are somewhere in the neighborhood of 30x10x20 and output 12k DPS at a long range. There are, according to the wiki, 2 of them - I'll be placing 4 of them along the sides of the ship.

The Small Turbolaser turrets output 3k DPS and are by my standards pathetic. They'll be dotting the surface of this thing periodically, since there's not enough CPU speed in the world to have 50 of them on the Star Destroyer.

It is to include a full hangar along the majority of the center of the ship, equipped with periodic Technobeam stations that are built into the ship and allow for healing your docked craft, operable via each individual console in the hangar. Potentially, it should be able to carry a good hundred or so medium-small craft and a few frigates in the belly hangar, but those estimates are well into the "Overkill" range.

Other armaments will include various guns in each direction operable via extra computers in the bridge (ie: you hop out and switch sides when your target is in the wrong direction) and four "Photon Torpedo" tubes - really just four separate missile arrays.

Current progress: Partly done with the framework of the ship.

This is awesome! I\'m making an Imperial Class Star Destroye, myself. It\'s a little bit smaller than this (only to make it a bit easier). I really want to see this finished! Good luck mate!

I\'ve been wanting to build some big ships myself, but I\'ve been working on Star Trek ships of late. This is bigger than even my biggest project (USS Discovery, Discovery-class vessel, length 968m height 139m width 405m).

Good luck on that build, I\'d like to see my ship have a face-off with yours one day!

I did mine there for months, it is a real size. I did not play a Starmade for a while so this is to use a little warm. I have clearly shown you the picture but it is too long to be displayed in full = D

And it is only more personal because it is denied on the server. The slightest collision can crash the server.
