Vaygr Battle Cruiser

About a week ago, I started a project to recreate the Vaygr Battle Cruiser from Homeworld 2 in Starmade. While not 100% perfect, I'm still very pleased with the outcome. So far, only the super structure is complete and the ship isn't space or combat worthy yet, with 5 turrets being it's only form or attack or defense. I hope to create a fully detailed interior as well, of my own design as there is no artwork or pictures of ship interiors, so I hope to give it an artistic spin of a military ship. So far, the ship is made up of over half a million blocks already and is nearly 900 metres long.

Once this is finished, I plan on recreating the Vaygr Assault Frigate, and possibly the Destroyer.

Only a small part of the interior has been finished, and that was stuff I deemed the most important, such as a housing for the core and the operations and command centres. I\'m currently working on the Officer accomodation and recreational facilities. Then move by way down and work on the hanger.

Getting back on with the Battle Cruiser. I\'ve added this, a Power Storage tank that measures at about 250m long, and holds 8.4 billion units.

The plan is to base main engineering, with the Power Reactors, around this construct. Lore-wise, this is providing power to the engines. Another smaller power generation and storage unit will be placed in the middle of the ship for the Trinity Cannon at the front of the ship. Lore-wise, this is where it\'s placed, I know it\'s not going to make a difference, I still want to put it there for design. Of course, I\'ll link the two power storage units together to maximise the storage levels.

This is nice. The second person I have seen who is making anything from Homeworld. The first one is me, and I\'m making the Pride of Hiigara. I would keep your ships away from it...but they are awesome. Keep it up.

I really like it, it looks good. I\'ve been playing Homeworld 2 recently, so it\'s fresh in my mind. Keep up the good work! We should get a project going trying to recreat the Homeworld 2 ships. I particularly like the Hilgari (Spelling?) carrier.

Quite accurrate ship lenght tho, the paint on the ship is great, just need polish and it will look badass

I love the thematic accuracy you have on the outer hull, and the interior power storage looks really good! The idea of building systems around enclosed structures on the interior is nice! I may borrow a concept or two from you.

I\'m working on a Homeworld 1 Kushan Revelation-class Destroyer. I\'m looking for good interior designs to flesh out the systems before I start work on the outer hull - where are you getting your inspirations from?
