so now we have pistols! yay! buuut they're absolutely useless because you can't get on an enemy ship and then they never stay still long enough for you to get to anything, you cant even gravity yourself, not to mention the fact that you can't even get through the hull unless the shields are down but if they are, why not just shoot the core? so I propose the Vaporiser and the Magnet Boots. The Magnet Boots automatically keep you from falling off the ship as well as acting like gravity, they make you stick to whatever block you are standing on, making it great for boarding and simply getting around. The Vaporiser is a gun-like device which disentigrates a 2 by 2 by 1 hole in any hull or door block, even if shields are up, but it doesnt damage the shields, if shot at a ship core it forcefully ejects the pilot then you can kill him. These two objects would make it possible to board enemy ships and take them over, and probably add a new element of strategy needed in the game, maybe you'd need turrets inside your ship to deal with intruders?

There is a way to \"gravity\" yourself, it\'s known as a gravity block.
But I understand what you\'re getting at. If a capital ship punches a hole into another capital ship, you\'d want to be able to walk around inside of it and effectively \"board\" it. Another feature would be to walk around on top of a ship I suppose.
As for the \"Vaporizor\", it\'d be nice to have a way to get into a ship but a powerful, shield ignoring handheld weapon wouldn\'t be only gamebreaking but also unneeded. I support a device that can \"hack\" plexdoors, which would be a lot less overpowered.
About what you mentioned about gravity, it will be a lot better when it\'s completed. At the moment, the physics engine doesn\'t calculate you moving at the same speed the ship is, so you end up being flung out.

The vaporizer could have only so many charges before becoming useless, and it wouldn\'t cut through immediately, it would have to charge up first
