USS Excelsior NCC-2000

My original intention was to make it to scale however most schematics make it seem very small with the size of the windows along the bottom hull. So I'm pretty much winging it and building it by what looks right while using various images as references.

Please share some comments and criticism.

Having some trouble finding good reference images of the Shuttle bay. If anyone knows of any good images I would appreciate it.

The Excelsior Class has always been one of my favorites, seeing peopele always building the constitution class made me kind sad, im really exited how this will turn out!

Slow update as I haven\'t worked on it much in the past week. I\'m having a little trouble getting the correct shape of the secondary hull where it curves in the front. Right now it makes me think of someone sucking their cheek in.

Forget the shape of the surface, focus on the \"ribs\" or the curvature of a series of linear cross sections. I just finished the movie version of NCC-1701. I took snaps as I was constructing.

Once you have the ribs mapped along one axis, (steps 6-11) then go back and smooth the contours across a perpendicular access. (steps 11-12) You\'ll have the shape, it\'s just the fiddly work of making your block layer transitions line up in a pleasing manner
