    I would like to propose implementing a meta item that is quite base for a huge number sci-fi technologies, artifacts and superpowers.
    It would allow implementation of endless cool player made technologies within the game:
    A brain computer interface or universal remote control tool.

    Basically it should work like character's version of "Inner Ship Remote" - a hand held meta-item that would allow activation of nearby logic systems, ship systems, cameras (it should allow the control and transfer of visual data from connected entities).

    HOW BCI SHOULD WORK:
    • When hold in hand in case of player R-click on block subsystem/logic it connect (wireless) to selected module.
    • Upon L-click when hold it would activate/deactive selected module.
    • It would allow the transfer of visual data from connected entity (entity on which logic module / subsystem block is located on). Player should be able to turn visual connection on/off
    • It should allow for controlling of whole ship (wireless control of ship/structure) in case it would be connected to ship core.

    EXAMPLES FOR SCI-TECHS IMPLEMENTED WITH BCI
    • Energy rays (doable, easy): character with BCI is on some planet with laser cannon satellite on its orbit. Satellite is connected to BCI and player can use it to destroy targets on planet surface.
    • Teleport: connect BCI to transponder module/gate whatever - this would allow (with some extension of capabilities of those block) for teleportation of astronaut in magic-like manner.
    • Gravity manipulation (far fetched) : Imagine some plant with a grid of gravitation modules and player -using BCI to control them remotely.
    • Omnisight - imagine set of camera in different places and BCI program that allows your for switching between them, it would allow you to quickly see what's happening in different corners of galaxy :D

    I've simplified the idea.
    It doesn't make sense to construct logic circuits within the BCI if you can do the same circuit on ship/structure side.
    Basically the new idea is similar to this here - with the it allows for transferring data back (visual data or maybe some more) and controlling whole ship?

    Why limit remote control to only one logic module?
    You can control whole ship GUI is ready :)
