Ubuntu 13.04 Sounds problems in starmade

Hello,

I'm running ubuntu 13.04 and love staremade. The only problem is I can't get the sound to work. I tried al the fixes that are stated on the forums or any where but i can't get it to work sadly

I use Java 7 (the official one not openJDK or what ever)

Wait, there\'s supposed to be sound? Other than the distortion that I hear through my music if I don\'t turn off starmade\'s sound?


I assumed the sound wasn\'t done yet (and I\'m on Windows 8).

I had the same problem, make sure you have package openal-soft (or libopenal) installed. It\'s often removed when installing things from Software Center, because many applications don\'t like it.
