I like tanks. I also like space ships. Why not both?
Enter the Type 62.
The tank is not very massive, however, it's basically a bunch of shield, energy, and PMC blocks wrapped in hull (hull thickness in the front is up to 12 blocks!). Since it's made with wimpy Chinese steel, well, the hull won't last very long. The PMC, however, does 1115 damage per shot and fires little pellets of doom faster than your wee wee. Inefficient? Sure. Scary? Yes.
Let's begin a small tour.
Here, in the front of the tank, we see the splashboard along with some headlights.
Up here, where the driver would be sitting, we see his viewports.
The vehicle comes complete with two spare track sections along with a snap-holder for them on each side of the tank, located above the front roadwheels.
Here is an anti-aircraft machinegun that the Chinese somehow expected to be useful in an era of jet CAS planes coated in steel armor. It has an AI module, by the way.
Back here, we see the engine deck, exhaust port, and spare fuel tanks. Perfect for little Chinese men to sleep on in the night.
In the rear, we see whateverthefuckthisis in a model of the WZ-131 chassis built after the advent of the Soviet T-62.
Now, let's begin on the state-of-the-art torsion bar suspension!
In the next shot, we'll see how thick the engine deck hull is, in addition to the engine/shield pattern used throughout the entire interior of the vehicle.
And that's all.
Note that the turret of the tank is unfortunately welded on; it can't move. I originally planned to make it separate but after realizing I'd have to do some whacky power shit whatever I don't even, and since I was building this on a hardcore server.. I wanted to get some use out of the tank. Indeed I did, before a patch broke the docking system and the ship ended up getting cannibalized by some random passerby. Oh well, it took down ~7 ships over twice its size and I saved it to my local library.
