    Download manually from here:
    http://files.star-made.org/build/

Bottom of the page is the most current release build. If you want the latest build, go into the /pre subfolder. User and pass are both \"dev\" (No quotes)

Once downloaded, you just extract the contents of the zip file into your \"StarMade\" folder.

Make a backup of your current StarMade folder.
Download the newest file from http://files.star-made.org/build
It should be the one at the very very bottom of the list.
When it finishes downloading extract it to a folder named StarMade.
    ???
    PROFIT!
Place the Starmade launcher next to the new StarMade folder (NEVER INSIDE, just next to it in the same directory)
Run the launcher, it should find the installation.

You can copy your new StarMade folder over your old one but make a backup (no srsly MAKE A BACKUP) of your old copy and then overwrite the new version over it to update.

Something not right? is it still not working? Did you make a back? No?? Sucks to be you.
Oh you did? Then just delete the new StarMade folder and rename your old one to replace it.

Wherever you have the game installed. There is a folder called \"StarMade\". Either back this folder up by renaming it, or copying it somewhere else. Then, if you renamed it, create a brand new folder names StarMade. Drop all the files from the thing you downloaded in there. Start the launcher and enjoy.

Make sure you use a folder that is writeable and not in any way temporary. It should fix all issues you have.

    Maybe just create:
    C:\\Starmade

Put correct launcher for your Operating system in it, and start it.
