Tips for building truly massive ships?

So, Im wanting to build a starship called "The Peerless" from a book called "The Clockwork Rocket" however, it is pretty big, what are the best ways to construct ultra large ships in starmade without any help? is there any way to do large number of block mass spawn, the ship is essentially a mountain converted into a space craft so looking nice and symmetrical is not a problem

Get good with the Advanced Build Mode and Symmetry tools

I use advanced build mode, the problem is you can only use up to 10x10x10 blocks, and symmetry is unimportant due to the fact that the ship is a mountain

Sure, but the Symmetry tool can turn your 10x10x10 (1,000 blocks) into 10x10x10 x 2 (x axis) x 2 (y axis) x2 (z axis) (6,000 blocks). You can then add / remove from each part to get it uneven again, but the initial build will be much faster.

I\'ll go ahead and be the dick that points out that it\'s actually 1,000•2­³. So you can place 8000 at a time.

True, is there any way to make it so that I place say....10000 blocks on the x axis though?

You can place a 10x10x10 block from over 50 blocks away when in build, so align the camera and you can rapidly place 5 of them in a row with rapid clicks.

I could probably throw together a nice 1000 meter vessel with impressive levels of power in only a couple hours if I didn\'t have to care about appearance.

Haha that\'s not being a dick. That\'s just my bad math by writing 2x2x2 but doing 2 as \"times three\" not \"three times\" in my head. So yes 8,000 which is even more blocks at once
