    CURRENT PROJECT
    As of May 11th

    Current Yamato Wishlist:

    1: Functional Wave Motion gun

All assorted Cannon and Flak beds

    2: Assignment of:
    Cosmo Zero x2
    Cosmo Tigers x3
    Seagull x1

    And with RAILZ now implemented;

    Foldout stabilizer wings
Pop out PING unit in the bow
Internal hangar with foldout hatch and guide rail
Foldout hangar on the aft with controllable launch rails for the Cosmo Zeros
    Fully animated Wave motion trigger.

And in general get the shape as close to the
    screen version as humanly possible

    LSO

Tintamarre: ( TA TE MAR ) From Acadian French meaning Clamour, Din and uproar/noise making with improvised instruments and announcing ones presence.

I am by no means new to this game or voxel based building in general, so instead of a how are you all it's a firm "good to be back".
As Tintamarre Fleetworks I aim to recreate in some way my ships based on space anime. Harlock, Cosmowarrior Zero, Yamato, Gunbuster. That kinda stuff.

Ages ago I built a test using the design/modelkit instructions of Captain Harlock's Arcadia which is i think the sexiest looking ship in history which I homage a little in the logo up top. Even though the blueprints are now lost to the stars ;( ain't that appropriate) I am working to build more ships in glorious oldschool amine and mango style.

Tintamarre: If it doesn't look nice, why bother at all.

    Ship 01:
    Spacewolf Mk.I
    *

This was me busy learning the updates implemented since last time I played. And judging from the holes in the side I was in no way prepared for any threats beyond just the one Isanth IV pirate I remember. Those visually pleasing holes in the side? They punched right through to the core. But as a warmup and teaching tool of remembering admin commands for wedges, this went well I think. Farewell you reject.

    Ship 02 & Station 01
    Spacewolf MK.II

Currently being built in orbit over planet-that-needs-a-name docked at Station 01. It's not docked, I built a rack/bed for it to snugly fit onto. Better everything, those raiders will feel my wrath. I'm planning a swift, smaller ship to be put here permanently but it's in even less complete shape than Spacewolf Mk.II and thus not bothering with images just yet.

    Ship 04
    Schwartzwulf

Schwartzwulf was a test to see if the general shape philosophy, basically submarine spitfires in space would hold up with the colors inverted, the only green to be found is the raised edge around the sunken in cockpit. And it sort of did! After satisfying the eyes it was high time to properly look at power/shield setups. This ship has 6 missile tubes pointing straight up but not much else regarding offense other than giving it. But with a permanent jamming system inside and proper shields that's not much of a problem. Stealthy and hard to lock on to, it will see you before you see it.

    - - - - - - -
And that's what I have so far. I'll put in blueprints once I'm satisfied it can take a beating, but all of them save the Schwartzwulf are refined on the outside, not the inside thus not RP friendly. I learned. Next up it's time to build a battleship class sort of thing, expanding the station to mentally plausibly accommodate larger builds and an actual dock then. And find some NPC's to liven up the place.

Because deep space is dark and full of terrors, and the terrors' name should be Tintamarre.

Thank you for reading this far.

I like the rounded shape of the ships. The idea of putting "scaffolding" is neat as well.

    Thanks Mariux.

I just about finished my Gunship. 9 Missile Tubes, many turrets. Mass wise if the guideline is to taken literally it's a destroyer but it doesn't do that much damage. The rows of Flak turrets work like a treat for how quickly they get taken out. Next up I will upgrade the station and am not sure what to build ship-wise after yet.

    The Schwartzwulf has been retired after a single missile salvo from an Alpha Station effectively renamed it "two seperate halves formerly known as one ship". Undaunted, work has begun on its meaner sibling. Working title;

    Ship 07
    GrimWolf

Nice looking ships! I love seeing people doing as-builts in survival mode. Makes for a more interesting story of ongoing ship design and development.

    Thanks Krougal!

The station is coming along, I connected the bits up and started on the smaller hangar. The scout ship started as a companion to the new Grimwolf and fits into its tiny internal hangar. (You can spot one in the first image if you squint), but I''m ok with the design to try and make some different versions. Adding fluff to the midsection of the hangar is joy.

It's not a Hangar unless something is being refitted or constructed I don't think. Also looking into other... uses.

    Construction continues on the Station.

People on the server I'm on favor testing heatseakers in friendly aether. I must persuade them otherwise. And I learned it's possible to destroy planets. The result is only logical.

Oh if only I could utilise some method of blasting Bruckner's Symph No.1 in C- on everyone's speakers when entering the system. Or a very loud baritone horn.

I am going to wait until the rail system is implemented for the Yamato build by the way, if i can do the fold out stabilizers, the plane hatches and the launch rails, I want to do them properly. Ideally I'd stick a compliment of Cosmo Zero and Cosmo Tigers on it. That ship is too close to my tiny black heart to half-ass.
[DOUBLEPOST=1430293029,1430291261][/DOUBLEPOST]Some pics of an evolving design for a Permajammer scout plane. 120kP/1.5K shields/permajammer. I aim to make it modular. Maybe this is the way towards a Cosmo Zero?

[DOUBLEPOST=1430296400][/DOUBLEPOST]Holy shit, it might actually be do-able to build the cosmo navy in star-made.

Arcadia! Arcadia! Arcadia! Arcadia! Arcadia! Arcadia! Arcadia! Arcadia! Arcadia! Arcadia! Arcadia! Arcadia!

    *hem*

Someone already made a very good copy of the second anime version (the one with the skull front). However, it'd be awesome if you could make the first version with the huge retracting blade in the nose, which would be possible now that rails are a thing :D

I don't have proof remaining of my first Yamato attempt but I DO have some shoddy images left from my Arcadia from waybackwhen. Was this the one you meant? (lifted from oldsite.)

10/10 support for you trying to make the Yamato. I hope it turns out good, good luck.
