Have a throttle instead of simply pressing WASD to move, maybe just the throttle for forward and back, and don't change A and D.
Moving in a small ship with high thrust is verry hard to do. This would help a lot! It would also help with long journeys through space.
It would be good if there was a cut throttle button also. (to go from full/partal throttle to off)
