So far, since the last update, I have been hit by three errors. First was the ZipException error. Then it was a MySQL error, and now the Null Pointer Error. I've overcome each problem by a simple solution. Delete the xml file. If you are plagued by one or more of these, or any error while trying to connect to a network server, try this:

    1. Go to your StarMade installation folder.
    2. Open the 'Client-Data' Folder
    3. Find the XML file, probably named something akin to: starmade.servername.com
    4. Delete the file above
    5. Run the StarMade launcher and do like normal

I don't know anything beyond this simple solution and while this does exist in several threads; the three main problems and solution doesn't seem to appear in a single thread yet, unless I'm mistaken. Anyways, I hope this helps. If it doesn't, post a reply and hopefully someone or even myself, can aid you.

For the sake of stability, please do not tell people to delete parts of their Starmade folder as that runs the risk of breaking their game.
