    I was watching some youtube videos and this guy was trying to build a ship that could make it to the core of the star and its pretty difficult. With diffucult things should come some reward. I think there should be a reason to travel into a star, something to gain form doing it. Such as the star has some kinda plasma core that can be salvaged, or maybe something else, idk. tell me what you think and what should be in there?

    Solution: hack in a shield module that grants -1 shields. Fit just that module to a core. Profit.

    Wrong again! *evil pinky* -1 in many game terms means infinite.

    Don\'t spread misinformation. Star damage ignores shields. Having infinite shielding will not help you.

    Ive flown through a sun before.

    Its not very difficult.

    I mean, it destroyed almost all of my ships turrets, but my main ship made it through with negligable damage

    In Stargate Universe the main ship travels through stars to recharge its power so they could add a module that converts sun intensity into power...

    @Charlie

    Sure, but as far as the programming is concerned, it often functions as \"infinite\".

    @OP

    I don\'t see why this couldn\'t be looked at as something for making high-end things once the manufacturing system is given a total overhaul.
