and, what about http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Arquitens-class_light_cruiser, eh? they are smaller than most other republic ships, but they are just as capable.

Actually the Arc170 is much more bomber than the v-wing since the standard weaponary of the ARC included proton torpedos. The v-wing normally only has two twin lasers and is only in SWBF2 presented as a bomber what is in conflict with most common sources.

And i think you should consider to include more different ships to choose. Exspecially corvettes and frigates since medium sized ships are completly missing in your list. I would recommend some of the following ship types:

While the assault ships and star destroyers were reserved for clones mostly planetary security forces used the 600m long heavy cruisers.
