Just a minutes ago I put on the finishing touches on Scytech's newest mining toy; The PLANET_CRACKER.
It takes about 5-20 seconds to mine the average asteroid and about 60 seconds for a station, and around 5-8 minutes for a planet (If your inventory allows it)

It is roughly 50x50x25 and there are 1154 groups of Salvage cannons

You need to add a second layer of salvage lasers behind this front one, in the gaps. Then you have full coverage.

Make another set of salvage cannons, offset by one block, behind that set - every block in front of that ship will emit a salvage beam
