The lore of RedEagle

Hello all!

I am writing this thread to shed some light onto the lore behind the faction known as RedEagle, and to start with:

RedEagle is the name given to the original alliance between the races "Dosera" and "Moderas". This alliance was created to allow both races to create what they both thought of as the ultimate spacefaring vessels, and over the years other races such as the "Roraken" and others that are currently unnamed at the time of writing became part of the alliance, and soon a large empire was formed, an empire currently lead by the only Modera-Dosera hybrid in existence.

So now with the background of that out of the way, onto the lore/fact-file of the first race of RedEagle, the Moderas, or spelves, or space elves as some call them.

MODERAS:
Average height in m: 2.75
Main features: Very tall but thin body structure, elongated ears, often graft extra bones into their arms and legs, have a preference for art and sadism over most things (often combining the two)
Language: Elven English (a slight variation of the queens English)

Lore/introduction to space travel: The Moderas used to worship their planets moon as a god, and this greatly influenced them when creating the technology for space travel to visit the moon in search of material and to find their god. They did not find a god, instead they found miles upon miles of exposed blue crystals, these crystals glistened in the glow of the systems red sun and seemed to pulse slightly. The first manned ship they sent to their moon was named "Arclight" and carried many too and from the moon over two centuries, however the Moderas became curious as to what lay beyond their home system, so they decided to make a shipyard as creating a large ship on a planet would result in a too difficult of a task to get it into orbit for them to achieve with their currently limited propulsion technology. The shipyard was constructed around the Arclight and over the span of 43 years became one of the largest constructs built by hand in the known universe, unfortunately the moon was almost destroyed in the mining for resources for such a station, but the crystal core still remains as a sentinel to the Arclight station.

Now having the technology to create larger ships, the Moderas set out on a journey to the nearest star system, as fortune would have it another race of humanoids had a similar idea and was traveling at much greater speeds thanks to a superior engine design towards the Moderas home system. The two ships met each other and in a span of mere minutes the two races decided on an agreement to share technology, and thus RedEagle was formed. The name RedEagle is from the names of the two ships, "Red dynasty" and "Eagles breath".

And now for a slightly interesting post that covers the race that started the thing with RedEagle covering ships with blood and a lot of spikes, the Dosera!

DOSERA:
Average height in m: 1.85
Main features: Every last one of them has bright red eyes, prefer to wear light armours and to remain stealthy in combat on the ground, like to create fast ships, as a form of ceremony each pilot is granted the permission to paint their ship with the blood of their choosing (often this is done by ramming the ship into a spacewhale) and is only considered a pilot until they have done so, many will dye their skin and hair red to intimidate enemies (this dye may or may not be blood).
Language: They speak in many languages ranging from English to Aethi.

Lore/introduction to space travel: The Dosera originate from one of the first human colony ships sent into the frontier and originated from two families from that ship. That is what they are in short, but lets go into the fine details! On the colony ship word of starting mutiny was spreading throughout, and eventually the entire civilian population (bar the very few) started to plan when and where to attack, the small group that did not decide to take part in the mutiny consisted of the two families, "Adams" and the "Eves" (yeah Adam and Eve, definitely not a coincidence on the writing aspect at all ) and they embarked together on an escape pod and set out to land on the nearest planet. This act sealed their fate as just moments later the colony ships reactors detonated, destroying the colony ship, the debris settled in orbit around what became the Dosera home world. Over the millennia the entire planet was populated by the Dosera and the race had adapted to their environment, developing a certain set of genes that resulted in them having bright red eyes and being inhumanly fast. Every-now-and-then parts of the colony ship would decent through the planets atmosphere and the parts for the Doseras first expeditions into space came from salvaged parts of the colony ship, and using the parts from the now obsolete hyperflux coil thruster and a small amount of salvaged jump-drives the Dosera managed to achieve speeds near the speed of light. Eventually the Dosera decided to colonise the other worlds in their home system, and then started to spread out towards the nearest star system, meeting the Moderas and creating RedEagle.

Every other sentient race in their home system was exterminated.
