The Harbinger - Planetary Mining Machine

The way that thing just slowly rotated while it was consuming that space station was a thing of beauty. You\'d have to describe that sort of thing in writing to fully display the epicness. You never aimed the lasers at all, you just... spun the ship. It was dramatic, intense, and kinda scary. Like something out of a sci-fi horror film.

That was the goal of the ship. I wanted to make it different than the conventional harvester. I could imagine how unnerving it would be to be on that planet when it started shaking and vibrating while the gravity was disappearing.

I imagined that ship just doing its thing during a firefight. A faction\'s ships are being torn apart all around it, its fighter escort is ripping appart resistence, and then a traitor manages to deactivate the faction block. Suddenly, this thing moves into place and starts spinning. Astronauts inside the station suddenly lose gravity as the station evaporates around them, revealing their fleet in tatters around them as a shuttle picks up the turncoat.

It\'s a classic EVE Online scenario.

I wonder what would happen if you made seperate models of this ship, where in place of salvage cannons you have different weapons, like a pulse cannon or a regular cannon. The power would be....just....whoa
