The game won't work for me :(

I have literally spent the better part of three hours trying to get this game to work on my laptop, I went from attempting to install it through the main download, to downloading and installing the game manually, and when none of that worked I went and attempted to update my drivers, I am using a laptop with Intel<R> HD Graphics, this is a brand spanking new laptop and I don't see why the game wouldn't run.

Is there any way that I can get this game up and running, I have wanted to play this game for ages and now that I have my own laptop I can't help please.

It just seems silly that this game wouldn't work on a machine with an Intel processor, it's like cutting off a whole segment of a possible customer base.

Since the latest patch the game doesn't start for some people (including me).

Also, I missed to state the following: The issue is not with Intel processors, but with Intel graphics.
I have created a thread for investigation of that issue. If you want to see the issue solved, it would be great if you could participate there.
