OOC: This is a story/rp and all posts need to be IC:. I plan to take events that happen on the servers that Eisenwald plans to reside on and turn them into stories.

If you want to say something OOC: please take it to the RoE Recruitment thread or send me a PM.

    —-–-—-—-—-–-—-—-—

Admiral Callaud moved down the long corridor listening to the sharp clicks and clacks of the hills of his boots and letting his fingers trail down the side of the bulkhead. These were the sounds and textures that he knew, sounds he had lived with his entire life, textures that were as familiar as if they were his own skin. Coming to a viewport the Admiral stopped for a moment to peer into the void of blackness and pinpricks of twinkling lights. Ever so often you would see a black splotch breaking up the monotonous of nothingness and pinpricks. Along the black splotch colored lights danced up and down the hulls of the ships of Eisenwald's Red Dagger Fleet.

They just floated in space like a refuge to the wayward traveler however what looked like safety could suddenly become death. These were warships with the firepower to level entire cities in a blink of an eye.

Eisenwald had been forced to flee from their homeworld many generations ago by an unstoppable force. Drifting through the universe the once great nation had no purpose and what was left of their power and influence soon vanished as the great enemy spread throughout the cluster of Eisenwald's origin.

All looked lost with only a few ships left and Eisenwald's military looking to make a last stand when a wormhole appeared. It was decided to try their luck with the wormhole the outcome which was unknown while the outcome of engaging the great enemy was assuredly defeat.

The Eisenwald fleet arrived on the outside of an unknown cluster of galaxies which they previously had no record of. Their navigation computers could not tell them where they were or even how to return to their homeworld. Surprisingly they found other humans residing within these clusters.

The remaining survivors decided to put down roots in the Elwyn Galaxy. To their dismay they found no friendly ear as they tried to warn the inhabitants of the Elwyn Galaxy, Redshift Galaxy, and Nass Galaxy about the approaching threat as surely the great enemy would find this place sooner or later and if they weren't prepared the past would repeat itself.

Generation upon generations passed and still Eisenwald could not convince the Cluster of Galaxies to unite. Each faction was hell bent on claiming dominance over the others. It was finally decided that the only way to unite the Cluster was through conquering it thus the engines of war spun up once again.

The technology had greatly increased since fleeing their homeland and they had reverse engineered much of the great enemies own technology.

Eisenwald was about to bathe this Cluster in blood. Blood that would lead to peace and unity so that preparations could finally begin for the coming of the Swarm.

Admiral Callaud slowly looked around the room meeting the eyes of each person seated around the large oak command table on board the Icarus-class Dreadnought "Icarus". The "Icuras" was the first in a new ship of the line war vessel that Eisenwald had commissioned between the joint efforts of themselves and a new ally. It was a powerful beast and soon mass production would begin along with the mass production of various other new ship designs currently in their prototype stage.

Sitting to his right was Vice-Admiral Sean Anasazi who had a very serious and grim look on his face which Callaud found peeculiar. To Callauds left sat Commodore Tou-san one of the few ranking members of the naval staff who did not draw their heritage back to the ancestors of the people of Eisenwald. Others sat around the table, the notables being, Commander Krinsch, Lt. Commander Endai, and Captain Arcangel. Several other captains were seated along the walls and standing.

Clearing his throat Callaud stood up and clasped his hands behind his back.

"Gentleman we have just received word that a fleet of Tartaran Empire warships attacked Calderon without any provocation. The Calderon ships were victorious but did sustain losses."

Pausing to let that sink in Callaud continued, "I just concluded talks with the head of the Calderon faction and we are going to their aid. This will be a good opportunity for us to destabilize the Tartaran Empire and her allies. Calderon has agreed to deliver to us one of her best warships for our services. We hope to gain some knowledge about the standard of technology most factions are using in the Cluster. As you all know our ally, code named Nox, has graciously agreed to work with our research and development division and the fruits of their labor resulted in the very ship we are all sitting in."

Turning on the projector Callaud stepped back so the men siting around the room could view the display.

"Calderon is also bringing us one of the damaged Tartaran ships our people hope to glean some intel from as well. The following is our battle plan gentlemen watch and listen closely."

    **** Several Hours Later ****

"That is all for now gentleman, prepare your ships and task forces. Make ready to leave. I will be in touch, dismissed."

As the room finally cleared only Vice-Admiral Anasazi remained.

"Admiral Callaud a moment of your time."

Turning around Callaud nodded his head and the Vice-Admiral continued.

"I don't like the look of this. Something feels off about this entire mess with Calderon and Tartaran. Have the Nox confirmed our intel received from Calderon?"

Sitting down Callaud clasped his hands together and sighed, "No not yet they are unsure of what instigated the conflict but regardless the opportunity to rid ourselves of a Faction is to good of a chance to pass up and the technology intel we are to gain is substantial. We will continue to monitor the situation and gather more intel but as of now we are going ahead with the plan.

Standing Callaud and Anasazi left the room, Callaud heading to the bridge and Anasazi to the hanger to fly back to his own commandship.

The stage was sit for the coming conflict.
