There would seem to be a rise in RP servers going live, and with it, a massive amount of poorly done character applications. THIS MUST BE FIXED.
When you're going to create a character for an RP server, don't be stupid about it. Seriously. Despite how much you might want to, or how unimaginitive you are, you cannot roleplay the Dovakhiin in space in good RP servers.
Don't just steal names and lore from a different universe, it just makes you all more likely to be denied entry to the server. Be more creative, think of an interesting name and backstory combination; And interesting, but not outright ridiculous.
Moving on to backstory, this applies to characters you might be bringing in from another server as well, Always make sure your character history fits within the lore of that Server/universe. If, for say, the lore of that server dictates X Faction is the only one with access to giant, expensive ships, then you don't just go off and import the Nexus to combat them.
Then would come the actual application process, having worked everything out to apply to a whitelist server. Even if you aren't immediatley replied to after posting, don't just start spamming with "So was i accepted?" Chances are the server host has a lot of applications to look over. Be patient.
Patience would be one of the most important things when it comes to Roleplaying.
I do hope this helps with better RP characters in the future. VARGULF AWWAAAAAYYY
