Hello, everyone! While browsing the forums, I noticed that there are quite a few threads for advice on specific designs... so I decided, "Why not make a whole thread?"

Basically, post pictures of your WIP designs and ask for advice on improvements!

To get the proverbial ball rolling...

Good point, the engineering crews should be able to scurry from one side to the other quickly.

here is what I need advice on my ship I am working on is lacking in detail.
first the bridge I don't know what to really add

and the engines need detail

note I am planning to cut the middle engine down a bit.
and the front I think needs a bit more detail

and finally the bridge it self

so really the entire out side of the ship.

I suggest using more types of armor, not just colors. add more layers, (use armor plates, slabs, and fake pipes using slightly upraised blocks).
