Textures crash my game.

I want to play Starmade with Kupu's 256x256 texture pack but it only gets to 98% then crashes. I installed the low res texture pack the same way and that worked. Is my comp not good enough to run at 256x256?

PC Specs:

8GB DDR3

Intel Core i7

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB

I have run Minecraft textures at 256x256 with +125 fps before but it just wont work in this game. Please help.

Your computer is certainly good enough to play with them.

Are you running 64bit Java?
