    Hello players,

while dealing with more content and issues, we discovered that our old bug-tracker could not satisfy our needs anymore, thus we decided to move to another more flexible software that also integrates into the development process.

Some of you may have noticed that issues on our redmine bug tracker (http://bugs.star-made.org/) were getting exported to a new place. We’re switching to a new, better bug tracker that gives us more possibilities and customizability.

Almost all of the current known issues have been exported by now so it’s time to officially announce the new tracker and leave the old one behind. The new one is using Phabricator and can be found at http://phab.starma.de/. A direct link to make a new issue/task: http://phab.starma.de/maniphest/task/create/

New issues are by default hidden from public now, if you do not want your supplied logs, blueprints or screenshots to become public, mention it in the description.

The testers team is unfortunately undermanned at this moment. We only have a handful of active testers nowadays. All your hard work is not without a reward. Every month we monitor your activity and reward you points for every action you did. If you have enough points you’ll get a reward.

    Requirements:
    • basic understanding of game mechanics
    • decent english (any other language is a plus)
    • able to work together with others
    • motivation
    • ability to spend a few hours on testing each week
    • age restriction: you have to be 18 or older in order to sign the NDA

    What you get:
    • contributing to game development, knowing that your work makes every release more stable
    • if you have enough points, you can forward 1 or more bugs to the developers. They will make it their priority to fix these as soon as possible. If the fix would take too long to do, you’ll be able to forward others in its place.
    • up to date news of what’s going on in dev builds and what’s going to happen in upcoming versions.
    • a tester badge for your SMD profile
If you’re interested in helping us out, PM lancake and AndyP on SMD with some more information about yourself.

    Thanks for reading,
