How do I build good ships?
Um...

1. Put down a core
2. Add blocks
3. If you don't like blocks, remove them
4. Repeat 2 & 3

And I know that's slightly glib. But that is the core of building a ship. How much you plan it out, what gets built first, what you listen to while building, are all generally dependent on the style of builder.

My two pieces of advice are: Keep working, and keep looking at the ship.

You have a much bigger area. Aesthetics are about several things mainly

Texture,Depth, and use of blocks. Try to go for a specific style. Lots of people use your classic Naval Cannons with some sc-fi flare.

Hmm maybe something like the 46cm Guns used in WW2? Or too many ppl use that?

Most modern ship cannons look similar so when converted straight to blocks they all look similar. If you have lots of trouble for inspiration google "Space Turret" :p

Okay, so the Chrysaetos is taking longer than I expected :P because I decided to change some stuff. So, some WIP shots.

Some logic. Let's hope it doesn't crash the server when I use it.

More of that logic. (This isn't the hanger logic.)

Clear the bay! Hyper-repulsor lasers are online, preparing to fire anti-gluon diver missiles!

And here's the new section that I need to work on. It'll make thing coolers. Superturreting!
