Alright, so I'd like to think myself experienced in the mechanics of Starmade after a couple of weeks of playing. There's a lot to learn but I'd to think myself quick on the uptake.
So today I'm working on my 2nd "Capital Ship" (What I nickname the largest class of ships) but I'm getting some REALLY weird errors with docking, which isn't surprising based on its design. Docking is, in essence, very central to its design. It's essentially a gigantic carrier that has 8 subslots for escape pods, 4 for large ships, 8 for small/medium turrets, 8 strictly small turret slots, 6 practically empty cores on the bridge for manually entering the turret grid, 42 automated turrets loaded with high-powered freefire missiles, AI modules, and 4 arrays of antimatter cannons, then a 43rd turret slot for a gigantic turret that fires large arrays of free-fire and anti-matters at once, in about 1 dozen spreads each.
It goes without saying, it's quite complex. The issues is I docked the 43 standard turrets, 6 parked turrets, 2 parked ships, and undocked a 3rd parked ship briefly, engaged some pirates since the turrets weren't online and kept killing me on mistake when I turned them on.
Then I go to re-park it, target incompatible. Slot hasn't changed, ship hasn't changed, ship has no sub-docked modules, no factions aren't installed, slot is large enough, I'm sure I'm hitting the target repetitively at close range, no reason given. I try the other slot, nothing. Make a new empty flying core, nothing (once again both slots too). I go to undock one of my parked craft, The Rooster V5, re-dock succesfully. Retry other 2 craft, nothing. Go topside, start detaching turrets and some can re-dock some can't, same error about previously compatible and no details to error message. Fuss around a bunch more, got nothing.
TL;DR: Giant ship with TONS of docked units, all initially docked vessels worked, sometimes undocking then redocking fails with no detailed messages.
What's up? Is there a point where too many docked units gets buggy, or a finite limit set in place that may be malfunctioning? I'm out of ideas here and I'm calling this bad boy a bug, since there is no logical pattern to this and seems unsolvable by the powers of reason.
Thanks for your time, ~WCCC
(Also there's a typo about entering faction "signitures" last I checked, just FYI)
