Its really unfortunate to hear this. I think we could've at least lightened Brown hull to a beige. Very disapointed in this decision, which seems like a senseless denial of a potentially very useful building material to me.Might have to stick with brown. I'm surprised this is rejected though. We got Pink, Teal, and Dark Grey recently, I thought maybe Tan would be on the way eventually. Can't really blame them though, gotta save dem' block IDs.
I don't know who asked for teal, but I thank them because teal lights are quite possibly my new favorite lighting, right alongside red. I was shocked at dark grey being a thing, but again I've really come to love it especially in conjunction with regular grey.rejected ? we got dark grey, pink and teal (seriously who asked for this one ?) but not tan/beige. I'm really disappointed in that decision.
you forgot standard armorreading this thread now,I see quite a lot of people dont use light brown hull :/ ,its pretty much close to this (dont kill me if wrong)
there..but also imagine this guys. how many more IDs would this be:
-> +5 (cube,wedge,tetra,penta,corners) for light
-> +5 more for normal
-> +5 more for hardened
-> +5 more for crystal
-> +20 more for slabs for all the above categories
It's way too far off to effectively serve as a beige, that was the first thing I thought to use. I'm assuming it's something like what you said where they dont want to add a billion more blocks, but yea, just replace the unused Brown hull and make it beige in color. Now Brown hull can be extremely useful, ane we can have a much needed block. That would be the most sensible. I agree that implementing a billion beige blocks would be silly, but one way or another beige is a color that Is notably absent (and in community demand), and could easily be included via a texture replacement of Brown hull.reading this thread now,I see quite a lot of people dont use light brown hull :/ ,its pretty much close to this (dont kill me if wrong,I might be going blind :D )

maybe we (kupu :P ) can tweak the brown light hull and brown standard hull to be a bit closer to "beige",and leave the hardened one as it isIt's way too far off to effectively serve as a beige, that was the first thing I thought to use. No. Brown is good as it is, and it's its own thing. If we wanted brown changed we'd ask for brown to be changed, but it has its own uses so no.maybe we (kupu :p ) can tweak the brown light hull and brown standard hull to be a bit closer to "beige",and leave the hardened one as it is
I think that that'd definitely be a great solution. I don't think it'd be innacurate to say that Brown hull is underused currently (it's color just isn't significantly different from advanced and standard to warrant use). A beige color (like how grey hull is notably lighter than advanced and standard), would make it incredibly useful. I personally, always use grey hull because of its unique light color, and I think that Brown hull could have really benefit from a change like this.maybe we (kupu :p ) can tweak the brown light hull and brown standard hull to be a bit closer to "beige",and leave the hardened one as it is
