Not much to it really, drop in and play join a faction or solo it. PvP is enabled and encouraged. Spawn is the only protected sector. Beyond that your on your own. You are responsible for protecting your ship by adding a Faction Module to it. Ships floating in space are free game!

I guess this server doesnt have a protected spawn. Joined the server started to create a ship and a guy came along and took everything and since a faction block cost over 60k and you start with 25k doesnt seem to be much you can do.

Getting a ship stolen because you were not in it doesn\'t mean spawn is not protected. You can build your ship and even buy from the store while in it so it can not be stolen.

Protected means you can not be killed there it is safe for you to build and then fly off.

You decided to leave your ship and got it stolen. That is all on you.

I was in the ship in build mode adding blocks when they all dissapeared but the core, there was a guy floating by my core bragging in chat that he just stripped a ship. I\'m new to the game so I guess its not really that big a deal and I found another server where people seem pretty helpful.

I just got kicked because of a socketexception error. whats this about?

Now its saying Im not whitelisted. Wtf, is the server down or did I get kicked for some random reason or what?

When we take the server down for fixes and updates we bring it back up with a whitelist to check it before making it live again and available.

we were both playing just now b4 restart and now we cant join due to white list

We only whitelist the server while we work on it. As soon as our work is done and we know the server is stable we un whitelist it.
