Suggestion: Multiple Defense Types

    We were having this discussion earlier. With multiple weapon types, it only makes sense to have multiple defense types. Right now all our ships are about half shield modules and half everything else because it doesn't make sense to do anything else. If a ship is small enough to use maneuverability defensively, it's not strong enough to punch through the shields of anything attacking it.

    Id love to see more Ways to be able to kill larger ships without the need of around 2k shield generators.

    EMP missile would be good.


    Its also commonly knows that small bomber classed fighters in ANY space game / Space movie is the way to go against large Ships, due to fact its fast hardhitting and hard to hit ship. so u need Flak ships

    I love the idea of adding more complexity and depth in to the game, especially when it comes to attacking / defending

    Bigger ships killing smaller ones is normal, the thing which wouldn\'t be normal is smaller ones killing bigger ones.

    i wouldnt exactly say \"its abnormal that a small ship would destroy a large one\" as its \"unlikely that a small ship would destroy a larger vessel\". If a small ship is piloted skillfully and has the right equipment then its possible that the small ship could slowly but surely destroy the large one, its a simple matter of the factors of turn speed of the large ship + small size ship being harder to hit + movement speed of the smaller ship, and if that small ship was solely developed to break through shields and destroy 1 block at a time. The AI modules and target locking assist the larger ship but with methods of escaping those it wouldn\'t be unthinkable or maybe even difficult for it to be done.

    So you tell me that a capital Ship wich only purpose is to kill Battleship, battlecruiser, cruiser classed ships can also kill Small bombing crafts? Then what is the use of Carriers carrying fighter and bomber squadrons?





    Bombers are meant to hit hard and move fast... Something LARGE ships cant catch due to its slow turn rate.

    Right, but they don\'t carry just one bomber. A carrier has wings of bombers and sends them after a large target. It\'s a matter of getting enough people to pilot the things.
