Suggestion for pirate ship use.

    My suggestion is that when you add a ship to your catalogue and set the pirates able to use it, that you could also be able to set the percentage that the ship would spawn.

    Thus you would be able to give the pirates different size / difficulty of ships, and put the large ones at a very low spawn rate. Making the pirates able to have fleets instead of just the small fighters, but also have it so your server isn't over run by extreemly strong pirates.

    It would also make the spawning of a capitol class pirate(like the heldtech Damocles set at a 1% spawn) like a server event. Where all the factions would have to come together to defeat the common foe.

    more options for NPC facitons hav alrdy been suggested but i like your idea for server wide boss battles.

    i would add that before the boss pirate spawns all players currently logged on get a message saying

    \"A very Large hostile signal is coming out of hyperspace. it will arrive in \"xx\" minates. Steel yourself for combat!\"

    If you\'re going to have a pirate titan spawn, you should also give it a bunch of escorts, becuase that would make it more fun.

    Pretty good idea. lol, if there was a faction vs. faction battle, then one of those drops in right in the middle...XD

    Last time I added a capital ship for the pirates, I ended up staring down 6 Legacy Star Destroyers when I logged in. I\'m all for it. :)
