stop effect

    Ok for most of us competitive faction we find the best way to fight and what best way to equip our ships with what is available and the best at that time. Right now the stop effect is the best at what it does and can from a tiny drone, can stop a ship 100 times it's size. It is hard to escape with out fighting as employees doesn't work on shielded targets. The main this is explosion effect if used defensively should be able to negate such effect. But it doesn't work at all. Can we please fix that so we have some counter to stop, and not have battles come to a.. stand still.
    Also why would explosion have that defensive effect anyways??

    Explosion has that effect because it uses an explosive feedback effect, breaking the effect of tractor beams and such.

    If a little ship is using stop effect on a big ship, the little ship should get dragged around.[DOUBLEPOST=1412839546,1412839479][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh ohhh. .... Titan space skiing. Like water skiing, but in space!

    Think of explosion passive as an electronic countermeasure. The splodie waves should make stop beams scatter but confusing the weapon effect with simulated hull concussions. The concussions cause signal ghosting and the beams bounce off and dissipate.

    I'm guessing but it seems like a cool way to think of it.
