Station in the same sector as a planet?

Not sure if this is wise or crazy but any ideas on what'd happen?

At the moment servers seem to melt themselves just fine

Station in same sector as planet? You can do it but don't. Things will be weird.

Don't make a station in the same sector as a planet. You can make a station for free by just building a floating platform high above the planet. You even get gravity with it. Just be careful with large ships. The last thing you need is your ~800k block cruiser rolling around on your city...
