    A couple of things here.

First, I think it's a great time to have a second look at the Starmote admin tool. Now that Admins are truly OP in-game (long time coming), with /god and /invisible, plus catalog permissions overrides, the only real improvement that needs to be made on the Admin side is data reference, already made easy with Starmote ... but there are some key, simple things that need to be added there to make it exponentially more useful:

    • The Faction tab should display the faction home sector, and the length of time each member has been part of the faction. It should also include a button that takes you to a list of faction controlled entities.
    • The Player tab should have an option to sort All by last login, and show their sector (or last sector they logged out in). It should also include what faction they're in.
    • The Sector tab should include a button to look up all entities within a certain sector.
    • All tabs should have cross referencing. Example: clicking a player's name in the faction tab should take you to that player's information in the Player tab.
    • Ownership of entities should be accessible and editable within the Starmote tool (more details on this in the next part).

Second, the catalog. As of now, one setting in the server config dictates the permissions of every player on the server. I know it's early but since this game DOES tout so many capabilities that plug-ins would provide to a game like Minecraft, then those available options might as well become elaborate sooner than later. That being said, it would be wonderful if it was possible (primarily via the Starmote tool) to give individual players, or factions, their own custom settings for Catalog access. This is necessary in my mind mostly because there are very few perks to provide players currently aside from things like money or blocks (both of which are understatedly abundant), or protected sectors. More options to provide players for "advancement" would really enhance the online experience. This upgrade to the catalog would be a huge step in that direction.

That's all for now, thanks for reading!

+1, catalog could use an improvement, especially for admins and factions.
