Starmade wont connect to starmade.org

I'm so angry right now. I was having so much fun playing this game... until i updated it. It just stopped workig. I get to the connect to starmade.org thing, i put in my info and my game just crashes! i am about to give up.

Woa easy there champ. First of all this is a game in a really really early alpha stage. Problems are going to occur on regular bases. Updates no matter how small are going to toast the servers of the developers in the beginning until they get the money to get more. So just relax give it some time and it\'ll pan itself out soon.

What you might try is reinstalling the game. That often helps
