Starmade using 4 GB's of my ram?!?!

I would like to know why starmade is useing 4GB's of my ram is it a problem with my pc or is it just starmade?

What\'s wrong with that? I mean why have ram if you don\'t want your programs using it?

when it checks for updates click options on the top left, then hit memory settings. Change the values to lower numbers if you really want it to use less ram.
