    Hey there.

I\'ve been using Jestservers.com for my server. I\'ve got a 20 slot server located in Dallas Texas.

The locations available range from 4 or 5 locations across America and about 4 or 5 across Europe.

The highlight of this host is that the guy who runs it, Kevin Jest, is spot on with customer support. The base rate is $1 per slot, though he often gives promotions to clients, and of course quarterly and bi-yearly deals see reductions in prices.

The server I\'m running on is extremely stable, with 14 people causing no measurable lag on the server.

Support tickets tend to get answered very quickly, sometimes within seconds of sending them in.

I\'ve been with Jestservers for over 3 years now, beginning with my first Minecraft server, also having rented Terraria, Evochron Mercenaries, and Planet Explorers (still running).

    I couldn\'t hope for a better host.

    Best Regards,

    Caid

The specs for their servers start at 2 gigs of ram, no bandwidth cap, and all run on ssd drives. Each additional 10 slots sees an increase of 1 gig of ram for the server. 16 slots = 2 gigs. 30 = 3 gigs, and so on.

SMProhosting 10$ per GB. Horrid support which can take up to 3 days to respond, not to mention you\'re not able to update the game yourself so you have to wait up to several days at a time for it to update.

Thanks. I just doubled checked the information, but what I can\'t find is how large the amount of space you are given on an SSD.

Should probably link to http://global7hosting.com/starmade/ for G7H though as that\'s the actual page for StarMade (rather than the cart)

Oh and they come with MySQL servers.

okay, i have just bought a server with pingperfect. Whilst I am having issues with the server, I have been told it is just an issue with the computer my account is on. Their customer service is fast to reply and have had their operations manager sat on my server for an hour whilst i was away. I can highly recommend them on those grounds.

Also, why does the hardware matter? It\'s clearly not listed for a reason.

Because it will tell you how well the server handles certain tasks.

Depends entirely upon what you\'re doing with said hardware; depends on how loaded it is.

Im the technical director for Pingperfect, We have recently implemented a 20 slot minimum purchase as StarMade can be quite CPU intensive at times.

Also most game server companies dont list their hardware either because its old and they dont want you to know that or not particularly high spec, Pingperfect shows off our hardware as our servers are new, quite powerful and have plenty of resources to host our customer servers on. We also dont overload out machines so each of them when at our predefined max capacity still have plenty of resources left to keep all your gaming smooth.
