Made my first interstellar ship, decided I'll take my miner with it. The miner was almost the same size as my travel ship, being a big block of a salvager, but I didn't see there being any problem with thrust or jumping with it stapled on the back of the vessel. I...er... installed the docking rail in the wrong direction, however. It completely enveloped the bridge of my travel ship. When I undocked the miner, the collision physics spun it around crazy-like, but worse, when I regained my bearings, the physics had apparently sent my travel ship off at wormhole speeds. It was nowhere near the planet I was visiting. Took me forever puttering around in the weaponless miner avoiding pirates before I found where my ship went, and I couldn't reach it, because it was close to the star, slowly melting, and my miner couldn't take the heat. Ugh.
