I know it is improbable, but will all of the alpha players recieve the game for free upon its official release? Just out of curiousity.

No, of course they are not going to get it for free. If they didn\'t pre-buy it when it was still in alpha as it is now, they will have to pay for it.

If starmade goes on steam just how are you gonna get your game if you have bought it now?

You will most likely recive a steam key if you wish as with anyother game that has migrated to steam though greenlight (KSP for an example can still be used without steam but if you want to get your key you can get it)

So i could buy the game play it without steam and give the code to a friend and i have 2 games (bought)
