It's awesome seeing tangible lore and art for Starmade, and gives me hope that a larger artistic community eventually forms around the game, even if the game is too sand-boxy to have much background lore to work with.

Sand-box games with a nice community size (like this one has) can actually use that to their advantage maybe! The community can just kind of whip up whatever they like for themselves. So hopefully the fanart side (we're not sure of what to call it?) of things will be picking up. We certainly enjoyed all the work we posted.

Haven't had much experience with inorganics. Kind of hard for us!! We'd probably do something like our android character.

After creating my avatar I realized I liked the style a bunch, so I decided to make a monochrome vista of a desert planet with fighting spacecraft above.

I could do more of these but I'm not sure what of at this point. If you have any ideas let me know.

I like the one in the distance, makes me think of a cross between a Harkonnen Flagship from the Dune movie and a Big Daddy from Bioshock. Maybe you should try building it?

My only complaint is that, realistically, a 4 armed person would have two pairs of arm muscles on the torso.
