Stargate Wraith Cruiser WIP

Hello again, decided on a smaller side project now that the Lantean Battleship is almost complete, really need a break from that thing every now and then to keep sane. So I decided to make a Wraith cruiser from the Stargate franchise as well, it will hopefully be a match for the battleship in greater numbers and maybe even one day complementing a Hive ship, but no promises as even with a 1:4 scale that would have to be 2 km long in starmade.

Anyway, so far I've just made a rough outline of the hull and some basic systems and weapons prototypes in the form of turrets to better simulate the way wraith ships fire, but it's proving difficult to get AI to use the turrets via remote control, unfortunately. I had to give it shields, because it would be laughably easy to destroy if it didn't and I want to make the Wraith ships like they are in Stargate, however, starmade doesn't have hull regeneration. It also has extra block armour to further simulate the tough hull of Wraith ships.

Ah I remember that ancient Wraith "Cruiser", that's 6 years old now man!

More or less finished the rough exterior structure of the cruiser, will now focus on perfecting the weapons systems.

Haven't decided if I'll be wedging the ship, or covering it in purple terrain and wines, it would be far better defended if I wedged it but it wouldn't look as authentic without massive effort and complicated design elements with several different hull colours.

Doesn't really seem to do anything to the shields though, will test out with several AI controlled ones

Got the weapons to work, they have however no real effect on the Auroras shields

To be fair, it certainly looks the part, now it just needs more "bite"

Personally i'd go with a thick layer of armor underneath a coat of purple planet terrain and standard armor slabs to make up the exterior.
