If you change the length of a plexivator by adding or removing blocks while the lift is in motion, the lift will stop dead. You can start the lift again but the old one will be there, unmoving. I found this out by rapidly expanding a plexivator while a faction member was attempting to climb it. This resulted in the player becoming trapped between multiple layers of lift for each time they tried to activate it.
This can be temporarily resolved by having the sector unloaded (local players logged out).
