Hi everyone, Just thought I would offer up some skins I made today. They're not the best but this is my first time trying it out. They're made for the current Devbuild 0.1 player models.

It will be tempting to use Darthhelmet\'s and the SpaceBalls trooper\'s skins for my faction if you make them.

Haha, awesome. I highly approve! Also, if I had found this thread and Dark Helmet wasn\'t in it I would have slapped you.

    \"...you went over my helmet?\"

Speaking of which, I notice texture bleeding along the edge of the distinctly dark Dark Helmet skin, causing grey lines. That can be fixed by extending the texture a pixel further than what is actually applied to the model. If you\'re not already using them, templates for the body and helmet can be found on my Twitter:

    https://twitter.com/Omnimmotus/status/430023264077762561

You\'ll notice that outside the defined areas of the parts of the skin, the colors extend a bit further outward. This is \"bleed space\", area which should not be considered part of the actual textures/skins you are creating but should be colored as if it was. The pixels around the skin blur into the edges of the skin, so it\'s important they match in color to avoid off-colors blurring in.

Also, try applying these on top of your skins (you may need to be selective about where you apply it) to add a bit more shading/depth:

You\'d be setting it as \"multiply\" in Photoshop and want to adjust the opacity. The point is to have anything darker than white darken what is beneath it, while anything that IS white should have no effect. (Thus the blending mode of multiply.)

...also, \"Spaceballs - The Faction\"... love it. Brilliant.
