Not Yamoto! Though the inspiration is there.

This is my current project, a mothership for friends to dock with, with a smattering of turrets, passageways and more. Mind you, this is my first time trying to build something distinctly large, with current dimensions at 213 x 53 x 74, though I don't expect those dimensions to increase much.

'Skeletons' are a great way to build large structures, I've found.

Rear docking bay, with two small docks on the top of the central engine. Interior has one medium-size dock and two smaller ones. There will also be one large docking space on the bottom of the ship for my personal vessel, which I've been building while taking breaks on this one.

Gotta have a door on the docking bay!

    Turrets and engine nacelle.

The bridge. There's a lower bridge as well, and multiple weapon computers can be accessed from here so different people can work the ship's defenses on either side of it in addition to its turrets.

One of two shield cores, has view on the docking bay May make a shield/reactor core later down the line... no, definitely will now that I typed that out!

Central engine room. Could use a bit of decoration maybe. Blinding light from the core courtesy of Plexbeacons.

Engine nacelle! A bit cramped, but you didn't expect engineering to be comfortable, did you?

Corridors leading towards the core, with branches to turret access and other decks.

I really don't want the ship's circuitry to be hidden, so wherever possible and aesthetically cool looking, I'm using glass liberally.

This is all a work in progress, quite obviously, but I hope she'll be a formiddible beast once complete.
