Sound trouble

I've been having a wierd problem with sound in this game. It echoes. not sure how else to describe it but even mousing over a button starts a repeating echo of that sound. Any idea what could be causing this?

try updating your sound system or mess around with the settings a bit i think that will work

I'm sorry,
that is kind of a problem with the java port of the open audio library I'm using. If it already worked once for you, most of the time a reboot will solve the problem.
Still, I'll try to make it more robust.

I\'m having this same problem I\'ve tried to find a way to stop it but I can\'t unless you count muting the pc as a fix

Like schema said, the sound library is broken. You just need to live with it, or mute sounds.
