some speed changes to weapons

    Cannon by default has slower projectiles. This will make beams a little bit more viable as currently the speed of cannon cannon is very high and is a lot more reliable than using a beam as the beam has a very short range but high accuracy, meaning half of the time you can't use them anyway.


    missile + cannon, I think the speed of those missiles should be faster than missile damagebeam as they are dumbfire, would make sense since the lock on ability makes missile + damage beam/pulse vastly superior as a main weapon.

    I'd be ok with this. Having slower cannon-cannon bullets and faster rapidfire missiles would help balance out PD and missiles a bit better.

    I don't believe the current speed of cannon/cannon needs too much tweaking, plenty of people miss with it until they dial in their aim, at which point a slight change in speed messes that up.
    Missile cannon however does need a buff to even begin to be relevant.

    Unless you are using drones with missile-cannon. Within a minute five drones can have a massive number of missiles in space. So many in fact you PD will be easily overwhelmed. Especially since PD turrets seam to have trouble dealing with missiles from multiple ship.

    I counter your drones with pd turrets firing Mc and targeting your drones and ship.

    I think these changes would be beneficial and promote more variety in ship load out.

    Especially since PD turrets seam to have trouble dealing with missiles from multiple ship.
    A bug which needs to be addressed.
