[Solved] No sound under linux 64bit.

I installed the game again today after not playing for a few months, and there's no sound :C

Last time I played it was under ubuntu, now it's with archlinux, but I don't see why the sound wouldn't be working. Also of note, is that schema switched to paulscode for sound since I last played, which sounds relevant.

There's no error message about sound when I start the game, either.

Edit: Nevermind, checked the log again, and I was just missing openAL.

I\'m having the same problem. I\'m running the latest Ubuntu release and get no sound. My log also says that it can\'t find openal. How did you go about installing it? I have libopenal1 installed, but it still says that I don\'t have openal.

i wish people would make more tutorials for ubuntu and in general linix
