Every solar sector has a star.
But I think it should be more... empty.
Such as instead of solar systems there would be different sectors.
example Star = ? Void = X Nebula = / Black Hole = O

? X X / ?
X ? ? X ?
Nebula - Slows down ship, Full of rich gas, no planets
Void - Large empty space, rare chance to find an ancient ship. might even have a vandering planet!
Black hole - Same as a normal solar system, it is very rare, but planet are incredibly rich in resources. Going into the black hole will result in an instant death, but the ship will be corrupted and turn hostile.
