SocketException: Permission denied: connect

Hello!

Started palying the game a couple days ago and have been reciving this error everytime I start up, or try to uplink my account. I've reinstalled the launcher, and java but nothing seems to fix it. I noticed that someone else had a similar issue, but nothing in that topic fixed anything.

I have the same problem, I havent been able to fix it yet but this might work for you: Go to your device manager- display adapters- right click on your graphics card- update it.

Other than that, I dont see how to fix it yet. So I cant play the game yet either

i also get this problem but only on singleplayer but i can get on multiplayer just fine

Yep this has been going around since sat night/sun morn for alot of ppl i tlk to including myself,...and no your vid drivers have NOTHING to do with it..................

Can only connect to singleplayer. such a frakking pain

I have this problem as well. I can\'t run singleplayer or multiplayer.

Likely your firewall blocking it. There used to be a bug in the Windows Firewall exposed by Java 7 / 1.7 if it used IPv6, but Microsoft fixed that last year, apparently. Of course, perhaps some other companies\' firewall products have the same flaw, but have not been fixed...
