SocketException Error

Hello, I am getting a SocketException: Address family not supported by protocol family: connect

Tried everything, from redownloading the game to uninstalling and reinstalling java, and also put the proper programs and ports to both firewalls (hardware and software), nothing works, still getting the error.

found a temp work around but it only works for the launcher, don\'t know how to fix it for the game itself, tried the same method with the game jar, but it doesn\'t seem to work that way, its really annoying, I really want to try it but my desktop will not let me. I looked into it further and it seems that its related to the game wanting to use ipv6 and not even trying to fall back to ipv4.

I had the same problem and here\'s how I fixed it. Open the control panel, go to programs, then add/remove programs, and search for \"Relevant Knowledge\" and then uninstall it. Its a malware program that you may have on your computer. That is what worked for me.
