Smedit Question.

Is there a Smedit version past 1.03.92 or is there a way to get it to work? I've tried everything I can to get it to launch but it does nothing when I double click the jar. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Java and several other tips. Lol, all I want to do is convert a .obj to starmade.

Make a bash script to start it.

Create new Textfile
Open it
Write
java -Xmx1g -jar SMEdit.jar
where -Xmx1g specifies the maximum RAM, in this case 1GB
rename it to start.bat

You need also an older StarMade installation (At least for me the newest doesn't work anymore)
the latest 0.18xxxx should work

When using SMEdit make sure to load a blueprint before importing an Object. This avoids failures. (Open->Default-Blueprint->any Isanth)

Ty Ty that fixed issue one, now I'm on the options window and have tried old version of SM, 1 -4 gigs, and other combos. Problem now is when I hit start smedit, the window just disappears.

Apearently the server SMEdit gets it's files from isn't working any more.
To fix this, just unzip this into the /StarMade/third-party/SMEdit folder
